Heart beating Check-in counter / STORY 05 - Cheap Pattaya Trip in Jul 2016 / The First Part

Go to the check-in counter
I heard that the LCC is taking a long time at the counter so I will head for the check-in counter first when I arrive at the airport. Then there were already quite a few people there. With this feeling the flight will be almost full.
We had already checked in the web, but we did not know the ticket counters for those who checked in, so we decided to line up with everyone for the time being.
This time, LCC is the first time, but there are many young people compared to legacy careers.

Ticketing completed
When it is our turn, hand in passport and checked in barcode form (print on web check-in), we give you quite fluctuating paper tickets. A thin paper ticket that seems to be torn as it is put in a bag. I understand cost reduction, but at the very least I would like to use a bit more paper (lol)
By the way, if you order the in-flight meal etc on the web beforehand, an order list shortened to the 4 character code like this is printed on this ticket like the photo above (tickets are on the way back from the flight). When you receive meals on board, you need to show this ticket so let's get the tickets out quickly, even if you enter the plane.
Check-in work is completed at the time of ticketing work, checking the baggage. Because "I thought that LCC is restrictive on baggage, is not it?", It is quite a bewitching experience. Especially without measuring the weight and size, the ground clerk handed the ticket while smiling nicely.
Apparently, when it can be confirmed as a baggage within limits by looking at it, it was able to pass through almost without having been checked.
It was my first LCC that I was concerned with checking baggage weight, but it was too nasty and I felt that the threshold of LCC in me fell at a stretch.

Since the ticketing work is over
Ticketing work is over and there is another 1.5 hours, so we decided to go to the Kansai counter on the second floor to get the Kansai International Card.
Kansai Card is a card that earns points every time you use the Kansai Airport, there are discounts in shopping and restaurants in Kansai International Airport, if you have this, you can use the lounge operated by Kanku Available for free if you earn points (The lounge usually has a discount privilege when there is a charge / card, but usability is bad when using international flights because the lounge operated by Kanku is located near the domestic terminal.)
Even so, Kansai International Airport should be an airport for 24 hours, but the store is almost closed and inconvenient. In this area, I want you to learn Dubai International Airport where various shops are open in the middle of the night, but, I wonder if there are so many users there. . .

Arrived at the Kansai Counter
The Kansai Counter is located close to the domestic terminal gate. You can receive the Kanko card you applied here on the web. By the way, when you receive Kanku card, you need an identification card. When using international flights, the Kansai Card can give points to a terminal like an ATM near the monorail entrance that left the departure gate. Also, by answering a simple questionnaire at the time of terminal operation, it is very convenient because it is possible to give points not only on the outgoing route but also points on the return route at once.
I got a Kanku card, so I will finish the departure procedure that seems to take time as it is. Anyway, since LCC is punctual, I would like to end important procedures such as departure procedures and baggage inspection as top priority so as not to get caught up in unexpected troubles. Actually I wanted to see the lounge in Kansai, but since the place is only in the domestic flight area, it is hard to use when there is a schedule that can not be delayed, such as when using international flights. . . Perhaps if you mainly use only international flights, there is not much sense for Kansai card? What? What? No, that should not be the case. . .

Then search for an SD card
I left the departure gate and arrived at the duty - free shop area. The shop of home appliances targeting Chinese tourists was firmly in business, so search for an SD card.
Then, although there was something ,,, every petty is oddly expensive. I thought that it is cheap because it is a duty - free shop area, but on the contrary the price is more than double the market price. . .
Because we can not go back when exiting the departure gate, we set the price higher. Well ~. I wonder if I buy an SD card in Thailand. . .

Go to the South wing with a monorail
Kansai International Airport has a departure gate of North Wing and South Wing, but to go to that departure area you have to use a monorail (train) to access. Since the monorail always operates piston, I do not mind the waiting time etc, but it is quite stressful for me to get on the train to go to the gate where the plane departs. It really is hard to use Kansai. While holding such dissatisfaction, we decided to ride a monorail and head for the departure wing.
