JW Marriott Macau Suite Room Guide

A guide to the suites on the 31st floor of the JW Marriott Hotel Macau.

This room is an ultra-spacious suite with a floor plan of approximately 96 m², with a separate living room, bedroom, and bathroom.If there is space available for Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite members or above, It is also eligible for upgrade.

I was able to stay in a suite at the JW Marriott Hotel Macau as an upgrade during my trip to Macau, so I will report on the details of the room! Please use this as a reference for your next stay in Macau.

Entrance

First of all, from around the entrance immediately after entering the entrance.

There is a toilet near the entrance of the room, and a desk where you can sit facing each other right in the back. There is also a kitchenette space on the wall with a sink, capsule coffee maker, refrigerator, minibar, electric kettle, etc.

Living room

As you walk through the entrance, you will find a separate living room.

Like a suite, there is a spacious sofa space and coffee table in the center of the room that can seat 7 to 8 people. You can also enjoy in-room dining here.

There is a large LCD TV on the wall where you can watch CS broadcasts. And beyond the window, you can see Galaxy Macau, Macau's major casino resort.

Bedroom

The bedroom is located across from the living room, and there are two couches next to the window. TV on the wall. There is a light control panel and a USB port around the side table next to the bed.

The interior is dominated by wood grain, dull gold, and mirror materials. The sparkling atmosphere reminds us that this JW Marriott Macau suite is a hotel within a casino resort in Macau.

Closet

There is also a closet space in the area leading from the entrance to the bedroom, with plenty of space to store large suitcases. This closet also has amenities such as a security box, hangers, iron, shoe polish, slippers, etc. (more details on the amenities will be introduced later).

However, despite having so much storage space, this JW Marriott Macau suite has almost no drawer-type storage.

Therefore, the downside is that you have to store clothes that don't hang on hangers on the shelf around the security box, under the hangers, or in your suitcase.

Come to think of it, good hotels overseas often don't have much drawer-type storage space, but I wonder if foreigners don't use drawer storage that much?

Bathroom

A spacious bathroom is located at the far end of the JW Marriott Hotel Macau suite.

The main sink has two sinks, typical of a suite, which is very convenient when getting ready on a busy morning. Opposite the sink is a stylish TOTO bathtub (with shower).

There is also a separate shower room (360-degree photo below) and toilet located behind the sink on both sides. The toilet seat is equipped with a heater like Japanese toilets, so it's nice that it's not cold when you sit on it. By the way, the toilet seat in the entrance hall does not have a heater.

By the way, there is a TV for the bath in the center of the large mirror in this bathroom...but you can't see it very well because the light reflects off the glass (lol).

Amenities

The main amenities provided in this JW Marriott Macau suite are as follows.

In addition, there are a total of 8 free 350ml bottles of water, and they are refilled during the daily room making and turndown service, so you will never run out of water.

In addition, the brand of toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are from Aromatherapy Associates, which is common to all JW Marriott brands around the world.

However, according to Mizuki, Aromatherapy Associates' conditioner leaves your hair frizzy, so if you're concerned about it, you should bring your own favorite conditioner.

JW Marriott Macau - In-Room Dining & Minibar

Guests at the JW Marriott Macau can enjoy in-room dining and a minibar 24 hours a day.

Details of the menu and prices are summarized in the article below, but drinks start at around 1,000 yen and meals start at 3,000 yen per plate.

By the way, the refrigerator in the room functions more like a cooler and doesn't get cold at all. So, if you want to drink carbonated beverages or beer, it might be better to have them brought to you through in-room dining rather than relying on the mini-bar. (The price is the same.)

JW Marriott Macau - Suite: View from the window

I think the highlight of this suite located on the top floor of JW Marriott Macau is the view of the casino resort that can be seen from the room's large windows.

The shiny golden building you see in the photo above is Raffles Hotel Macau, which just opened in the summer of 2023.

During the day, you can enjoy the magnificent view of Galaxy Macau, but at night, you can enjoy the night view that makes you think, ``This is Macau!'' as shown in the photo below. By the way, please note that the illumination at night will turn off at 12:00 midnight.

Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite Gift

On this occasion, we stayed at the JW Marriott Hotel Macau as Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite members. Upon arriving in our room, we were greeted with a welcome gift consisting of a fruit platter and macarons, along with a message from the manager of JW Marriott Macau.

Additionally, if you are a Marriott Platinum Elite member or above, you can receive 1,000 Marriott Bonvoy points or a drink and snack as a welcome gift upon check-in.

As a side note, we chose macaroons + cookies and Mizuki's favorite watermelon juice for the welcome gift, but the welcome gift macarons in the room covered it...I was happy but a little disappointed. (lol). If this was the case, maybe I should have opted for beer instead?

No, but the macarons here are rich and delicious, so I think it's well worth trying.

World-class room service.

Also, what we were particularly impressed with during our stay at JW Marriott Macau was the high quality of the room making.

JW Marriott Macau offers room making service during the day and turndown service in the evening, and in both cases they replenish the toiletries you use without forgetting them, and they even leave extra water for you.

When I always drink the same tea, they prepare a larger amount of it, and on the last day, they give me TWG tea...they are very attentive and take great care in making the room for me.

JW Marriott Macau's room making also gives you a sense of the warmth of people's hearts, such as tomorrow's weather forecast and a small handwritten message on the side table.

I think it's one of the best JW Marriotts we've ever stayed at.
